I'm not dead. I just haven't really had much to say. I guess that is why I use Facebook more often for updates nowadays because I can summarize that nothing is really going on in my life in a short sentence.

I'm still out of work - I've applied for easily over 100 jobs and had some good interviews, some polite replies and some non-replies from things that I could do in my sleep that I thought I could do until something better comes along. There just doesn't seem to be enough work out there, and when a position is advertised, there seems to be someone with more experience, or a better match to the job, or something else that tips it in their favour.

I have lost some books. Well, that is to say, they are no where in my possession. They may well be in someone else's possession, that I simply can't recall. I know that I had the Star Wars: Infinities series of Graphic Novels, and I know I had a lot more Philip K Dick than just the two that I have. I had a heap of those that I had bought new and old. It's kind of a shame, really, because the Infinities series was about $90 worth, and the Dick would probably cost me over $100 to replace them all (even though I did buy some cheap and second hand, but, really, what the odds of finding them again used and at the price I got them for?). I hate losing stuff :(

Could one of you fuckers explain to my sick (flu) mind that I hate love songs, whether I am in love or not.  And why the hell I am singing a son by a guy named Billy Field is beyond me, as well....

The guy that has shifted to *casual* from *full-time* has become a real prick.  I mean, a *real* prick.  If he is going to act like that from now on, I will either have him fired, or I'll quit.  It has come to that.  I won't stand for lazy pricks that get perks...

My manager had a meeting with one of the richest men in Brisbane today (David Kemp), which revealed something that I knew was coming for a long time - he has bought a significant share of one of our mutual suppliers.  He now (pretty much) owns us.  I am still to meet this man.  I am still to be confirmed as 2IC, as well.  I am still to get a pay rise.

I was told off for doing things that my manager authorized, because I can't do them without his authorization.  Hello - I have his authority to do *EVERYTHING* - why else would I tell you to get off your fat *fucking* ass and do your fucking job?!?  Oh - meebee he's not listed me as 2IC?

Suddenly, again, I am doing Storeman duties, as well as everything else - go figure...

Got my student debts today - over US$35,000 - great.
